Our philosophy towards life insurance is that most consumers should not invest money with a life insurance company.  Buy life insurance (usually pure, inexpensive Term) from an insurance company and buy investments from an investment company.  Otherwise you will typically be paying a tremendous amount of unnecessary commissions.
